Locust Salon
Locust Salon is a free monthly performance series at 1182 Locust Circle, Provo, Utah, the second Friday of every month at 7:30 pm. It is an informal yet intense evening of cutting edge art, music, poetry and chili.

The first Locust Salon occurred Friday 8 June 2007, beginning at 7:30, at Locust Hill (1182 Locust Circle, Provo, Utah). The salon will included music by Uba (Christian Asplund (piano/viola), Joseph Jensen (tuba), Dave Madden (electronics and percussion), and Ryan Moore (electronics). Also electronic music by Steve Ricks (http://stevericks.com/). Also readings by fiction writer, Steve Tuttle (http://english.byu.edu/asp/webpages/mainpage.asp?netid=tuttle). This was the first of an ongoing series of monthly salons (second Friday of each month) at Locust Hill to include cutting edge art, music, poetry, and fiction in a casual yet intense atmosphere.
